Korea’s chip inventory in April was up 83% y-o-y, says Statistics Korea, which was the biggest y-o-y increase in seven years. April factory shipments fell 33% while production was cut by 20%. AWS Shield Advanced now supports AWS CloudFormation. Starting today, you can easily create and configure Shield Advanced protections against Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks using a CloudFormation template. With CloudFormation, you can use a programming language or simple text file to automatically configure resource protections in a secure, efficient and repeatable way. Shield resource types available to be deployed using CloudFormation stacks across AWS regions and accounts include resource protection with automatic application-layer DDoS mitigation, Route 53 health checks, Shield Response Team (SRT) access, and proactive engagement with emergency contacts. You can also continue to configure Shield Advanced resource protections using the AWS Management Console, Command Line Interface (CLI) or API.
