Corretto 23 is an OpenJDK 23 Feature Release, which will be supported through April, 2025. OpenJDK 23 introduces enhanced performance with updates to the Z Garbage Collector and Vector API, along with improved JIT compilation for faster code execution. Additionally, it brings expanded pattern matching and switch expression capabilities for more concise and expressive coding.
