New AWS ISV Workload Migration Program
Whether it’s an organization’s first cloud project or part of a larger transformation initiative, the migration of Independent Software Vendor (“ISV”) workloads from on-premises data centers to AWS requires significant domain expertise in planning, execution, and optimization. Such migrations require an understanding of workload dependencies, application customizations, and AWS deployment options.
To address this challenge, we’re excited to introduce the AWS ISV Workload Migration Program (WMP). The program helps customers migrate ISV workloads to AWS to achieve business goals and accelerate their cloud journey.
AWS ISV WMP collaborates with AWS Partner Network (APN) Technology Partners and their APN Consulting Partner communities to create a prescriptive and repeatable migration process for their AWS offering, whether its deployed as Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Bring Your Own License (BYOL), or a Managed Service. The program is open to Select, Advanced, and Premier tier APN Partners and provides technical enablement, migration funding to offset costs, and go-to-market support.
With the goals of streamlining migration and lowering the cost of migrating ISV workloads for the customer, this program aligns APN Partners and AWS to support the success of our customers’ cloud journey. With AWS ISV WMP, APN Partners drive and deliver ISV workload migrations, enhancing their cloud practices and customer success on AWS.
