Today, Amazon Connect introduces contact flow versioning, making it easy to preview, modify, and publish past versions of a flow with just a few clicks within the contact flow designer. Rolling back between a saved or published version is simple, allowing you to review how a flow evolved and inspect how it was previously configured, enabling experimentation. Previously, customers could only revert to the last saved or published version, limiting their ability to track changes.

Nokia Bell Labs and Amber extend battery life
Researchers at Nokia Bell Labs and Amber, the Centre for Advanced Materials and BioEngineering Research at Trinity College Dublin, have created a formula for battery composition that claims to make batteries last 2.5 times longer than anything currently on the market. Increasing the energy storage capability of lithium-ion batteries necessitates maximisation of their areal capacity. This requires thick …

Compound semi transistor stores data with less energy than DRAM or flash
Researchers at the University of Lancaster have created a non-volatile memory that might eventually store data for 1% of the energy required by DRAM and 0.1% that of flash – both modelled at 20nm. “Our device has an intrinsic data storage time that is predicted to exceed the age of the Universe, yet it can …

Stretchy heart monitor tattoo measures electrical and mechanical body signals
Electrocardiograph and seismocardiograph readings can be taken simultaneously by an e-tattoo, according to the University of Texas at Austin – seismocardiography (SCG) is a measure of chest vibrations associated with heartbeats. “We can get much greater insight into heart health by the synchronous collection of data from both sources,” said Austin engineer Nanshu Lu. The active …
