Amazon AppStream 2.0 Is Now Available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region
Amazon AppStream 2.0 is now available in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region, an isolated AWS Region designed to host sensitive data and regulated workloads in the cloud for customers who have U.S. federal, state, or local government compliance requirements. With this launch, Amazon AppStream 2.0 is now available in nine AWS Regions. For a list of regions where AppStream 2.0 is available, see the AWS Region Table. You can deploy general purpose, compute-optimized, memory-optimized, and graphics-pro streaming instances in the AWS GovCloud (US-West) Region to meet the needs of your users. Graphics-design instances are not available at this time.
AWS Chatbot Now Supports Notifications from AWS Config
AWS Chatbot now makes it easy to receive notifications from AWS Config in your team’s Slack channels and Amazon Chime chat rooms. You can receive notifications about Config rule compliance or configuration item changes. Receiving notifications in your channels or chat rooms enables your entire team to review and collaborate quickly.

AWS Firewall Manager now supports Amazon VPC security groups, making it easier for security administrators to centrally configure security groups across multiple accounts in their organization, and continuously audit them to detect overly permissive or misconfigured rules.

Today, Amazon SageMaker Ground Truth launched built-in workflows for label verification and label adjustment. One way that ML practitioners have improved the accuracy of their labeled data is through using audit workflows. Audit workflows enable a group of reviewers to verify the accuracy of labels (a process called label verification) or adjust them (a process called label adjustment) if needed.
