Starting today, SageMaker Autopilot provides support for the Apache Parquet file format. Apache Parquet is a free and open-source column-oriented data storage format for the Apache Hadoop ecosystem. It provides efficient data compression and encoding schemes with enhanced performance. This new feature allows the creation of SageMaker Autopilot experiments with files stored in the Apache Parquet file format.
Amazon SageMaker Autopilot adds support for datasets up to 100 GB
Amazon SageMaker Autopilot automatically builds, trains, and tunes the best machine learning models based on your data, while allowing you to maintain full control and visibility. You can now use SageMaker Autopilot to build machine learning models for regression and classification problems on datasets larger than 10 GB, the previously supported limit. Starting today, SageMaker Autopilot supports datasets with sizes up to 100 GB by default in all AWS regions where SageMaker Autopilot is currently supported.. SageMaker Autopilot will subsample your dataset automatically, while accounting for class imbalance and preserving rare class labels. The default 100 GB service limit can be increased to support datasets larger than 100GB by filing a limit increase request in the AWS Support Center console .
AWS Cloud Map API now supports IPv6
AWS Cloud Map API now supports the IPv6 protocol, allowing applications to connect to AWS Cloud Map endpoints over IPv6. This allows you to more easily integrate with existing IPv6-based applications, and reduce the need for expensive networking equipment to handle the address translation between IPv4 and IPv6.
