Singapore’s national water agency PUB has issued requests for proposals (RfPs) in three fields of water technology research, with a budget totalling SGD 30 million ($23 million).

Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA) has requested expressions of interest (EoIs) on a 200 million gallons a day (909,000 m3/d) mega desalination project, reports Emirates news agency WAM.

Officials say a valve failure led to the spill.
