Amazon Web Services (AWS) is pleased to release a major update to the Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) on AWS Quick Start. This Quick Start automatically deploys AD DS on the AWS Cloud and now includes Windows PowerShell Desired State Configuration (DSC) and AWS Systems Manager Automation documents.

You can now seamlessly run machine learning and high performance computing applications by scheduling Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) tasks with Amazon EC2 GPU instances in the same manner that you do CPU and Memory. You can also pin these GPUs instances to containers for workload isolation.

AWS X-Ray SDK for .NET Core is now generally available enabling .NET developers to get an end to end view of requests as they travel through their applications. 

Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) message filtering now supports blacklisting of multiple string values, using the anything-but operator. This makes it easier to set criteria for filtering messages.
