Amazon Athena Now Supports Resource Tagging
You can now add Tags to Athena Workgroups . Athena Workgroup is a new resource type that can be used to separate query execution and query history between Users, Teams, or Applications running under the same AWS account. With the latest release, you can assign metadata to Athena Workgroups in the form of tags. Each tag is a simple label consisting of a customer-defined key and an optional value that can make it easier to manage, search for, and filter Workgroups. Tagging Workgroups allows you to allocate costs, get detailed billing reports across Workgroups as well as define IAM permissions on Workgroups based on these tags. Learn more
