AWS Direct Connect has enhanced the AWS management console and added support for the Connection Wizard as part of the Resiliency Toolkit. The Connection Wizard provides AWS customers the ability to achieve highly resilient network connections between AWS and their on-premises infrastructure. The use of the Connection Wizard lets you order Dedicated connections to meet your SLA needs. You can select a resiliency model, and then the Connection Wizard guides you through the Dedicated connection ordering process. The resiliency models are designed to ensure that you have the appropriate number of connections in multiple AWS Direct Connect locations so that you have connectivity to AWS in case of a connection, a device, or a location failure.

Amazon EventBridge now supports AWS CloudFormation for creating and configuring EventBridge resources — along with the rest of your AWS infrastructure—in a secure, efficient, and repeatable way. 

Starting today, customers can queue purchases of EC2 RIs in advance by specifying a time of their choosing in the future to execute those purchases.  

You can now use Amazon EventBridge to easily connect applications together using data from your own applications, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications, and AWS services in the AWS Middle East (Bahrain) Region. 

Amazon SageMaker now supports ml.p3dn.24xlarge, the most powerful P3 instance optimized for machine learning applications. This instance provides faster networking, which helps remove data transfer bottlenecks and optimizes the utilization of GPUs to deliver maximum performance for training deep learning models.

This Quick Start deploys an Amazon Managed Blockchain network on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud in about 15 minutes. This Quick Start is for users who want to build and participate in decentralized applications shared across a consortium of members using Managed Blockchain.

AWS Backup now provides customers an automated way to receive notifications based on the status of their backup, restore, and recovery point jobs. For customers using SNS notifications to monitor their backups, this functionality will allow customers to directly filter for certain job status types, such as failed backup jobs. Prior to this, customers would have to discern the job status from the message, without the ability to filter on this attribute.
