AWS Systems Manager now supports scheduling of maintenance tasks, such as applying patches, offset from a specific day in a specific week of the month. This enables IT operators to specify the number of days to wait before executing a maintenance window.
Amazon Corretto 8u262 & Corretto 11.0.8 are now available
Today Amazon Corretto is releasing its July quarterly critical updates. CDK Pipelines is a construct library for the AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK) that makes it easy to set up simple or complex continuous delivery pipelines with AWS CodePipeline. With CDK Pipelines, development teams can define and share “pipelines-as-code” patterns for deploying their applications. AWS Service Catalog is now available in two new AWS Regions. With this release, AWS Service Catalog is now available in 21 regions including US East (N. Virginia, Ohio), US West (N. California, Oregon), Canada (Central), South America (São Paulo), Europe (Ireland, Frankfurt, London, Paris, Stockholm and Milan), South America (Sao Paulo), Middle East (Bahrain) and Asia Pacific (Mumbai, Seoul, Singapore, Sydney, Hong Kong, and Tokyo) and Africa (Cape Town). AWS Service Catalog is also available in GovCloud (US-West) and GovCloud (US-East) Regions, AWS Regions designed to host sensitive data and regulated workloads in the cloud for customers who have U.S. federal, state, and local government compliance requirements.

Fluent Bit supports Amazon Elasticsearch Service as a destination to route container logs
Customers using container services including Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Services (EKS), or self-managed Kubernetes can now send their container logs to Amazon Elasticsearch Service using the Fluent Bit log router. Fluent Bit allows customers to route container logs to various AWS and partner monitoring solutions including CloudWatch, Amazon Kinesis, Datadog, Splunk, and now Amazon Elasticsearch Service.
