Superintendents at both a wastewater treatment plant and a drinking water treatment plant have reported long-term, successful deployment of chlorine gas cylinder containment vessels to provide enhanced management of gas leak risk, thereby further promoting management’s preference for using chlorine gas as their most cost-effective option for primary disinfection.
