Amazon QuickSight now supports cascading filter actions. You can use filter actions to select multiple data points in a dashboard and view the cumulative impacts of filtering those data points, across multiple datasets used to build the dashboard. For example, on a business dashboard revenue data and bar charts representing ‘revenue by industry’ and ‘revenue by category’, you can choose ‘Technology’ as industry from the first bar chart and Hardware as category from the second bar chart to filter the entire dashboard to show contributions for Hardware category within the Technology industry.
